"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." ~Luke 6:27-28 NIV
When someone hurts us, most often than not our initial reaction would be to strike back, take revenge - perfectly like in the movies. But I have learned that the best way to handle it is to forgive and pray for the person because that will bring you peace and will stop the vicious cycle of hate and apathy. We are only passing in this world, cultivating hatred and revenge in our hearts will bring us no good.
